“Neurobiological Impact of Reflexology at the Cellular Level”

Discover the complex pervasive neurological and physiological powers of integrated hand ear foot reflexology at the cellular level to impact every function of the human body.
Most reflexology studies, rightfully so, have focused on macro reflexology – the impact of reflexology on various parts and functions of the human body, as well as on the mechanisms of how reflexology works. This presentation will explore the multiple mechanisms through which the human body can relax at the cellular level, consequently increasing the availability of oxygen, nutrient, and the cornucopia of bodily chemicals, supplied by the organs, glands and structures of the body, to the 40 million cells throughout the human body.

"Is Nerve Reflexology a Useful Treatment for Neuropathic Pain in Cancer Survivors"

Case series presentation taking a nerve reflexology approach to neuropathic pain in cancer survivors experiencing chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy.

Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN) is one of many side-effects associated with the aggressive chemical drugs used in cancer treatment and is one of the most difficult of all pain conditions to treat effectively. Up to 30% of cancer survivors report CIPN symptoms at least six months post treatment, whilst 47% may still experience symptoms on average six years after the end of treatment. With sequelae that are difficult to manage and with limited pharmacological benefit, pain from CIPN can be extremely debilitating and treating it effectively is a growing unmet need in cancer survivors worldwide.

"Research for Reflexology to Support Reproductive Health and Fertility"

To enable reflexology to become more widely available and to influence stakeholders we need more research that demonstrates the benefits to patients.  This research supports both of these aims.

The World Health Organization announced recently that 1 in 6 couples globally now have difficulties conceiving and we know that increasing numbers are using reflexology to support them during this time.  We need research in this field to demonstrate the efficacy to a global audience of the benefits and the future of reflexology in supporting clients during this difficult time in their lives.  Conference attendees will learn some of the research and theory behind this topic along with a demonstration of individualized and anatomically correct representation of reproductive reflex points.

"Discovering the Benefits of Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy"

The presentation will demonstrate how we are getting ourselves 'together' as individuals and collectively using reflexology. It will inspire, motivate and direct delegates to further discover the benefits of reflexology for both themselves and their clients.

Using Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy, I will demonstrate how the subtle energies of this form of therapy can allow clients to feel more connected to themselves and more in control of the self-healing process. The presentation itself will focus on the theories and philosophies behind the work whilst the accompanying workshop will draw attention to the mechanics behind the therapeutic process. Delegates should leave the conference inspired to deliver even more of themselves through their reflexology work.
